Fr. William A. Finnerty
Graduate of Conception Abbey. Reportedly in 2010, Finnerty was accused at some point of sexually abusing a girl more than 30 years prior. The Archdiocese recommended that he remain at a care facility due to his poor health, with restrictions. He died in 10/2009, age 82. Included on the Archdiocese’s list 1/35/2019, which notes multiple allegations of abuse, occurring in the early- to mid-1960s. The allegations were substantiated.
