Accused in a 1998 lawsuit of molesting a 17-year-old boy in Pearl River in 1991. Fraser (at times spelled Frazier) denied the allegations and was allowed to remain in ministry. Suit settled in 2004. Placed on leave in 2004 after an allegation of sexual abuse of a child in the mid-1980s at Sts. Peter and Paul in Pearl River. Also accused of molesting a boy while assigned to St. Raphael the Archangel in about 1983. Credible, per Review Board. Settlement(s) in 2009. Church trial ordered. Fraser sued the archdiocese in 1/05. On the archdiocese’s list 11/2/18. Lawsuit in 8/19 claimed abuse over 10 years beginning 1982 of an altar boy, age 10 or 11. Another suit alleged abuse in the late 1970s by Fraser and Rev. Paul Calamari. Died in 2019.
