Fr. Jesus P. Garza

Newly identified as accused on the Chicago Archdiocese’s list released 3/20/2006. In 11/1983 a mother expressed concern to the Archdiocese about Garza’s interactions with her son. In 4/2000 the alleged victim met with Cardinal George. Garza resigned 7/1/00. In 2005 internal investigators deemed substantiated claims that Garza forced a boy to perform oral on him sex numerous times 1/1984-4/1984. Discovered by a news outlet in 9/2018 to have gone on to work as a counselor in the Beloit, WI public schools. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General’s Report.
