Fr. Elwood F. Geary
Accused in a lawsuit sometime between 2020-2022 of sexually abusing a boy, age 11, in 1968 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles in San Jose. Geary allegedly fondled the boy’s genitals and forced oral sex on him. Geary was the parish’s founding pastor in 1960, remaining in that role until 1979. The parish was part of the Archdiocese of San Francisco until the Diocese of San Jose was established in 1981, the year Geary died.
