Fr. Robert G. Gibney
Died in 2012. Accused in a civil lawsuit filed 8/7/2014 of sexually abusing a boy at Sacred Heart School and Parish in Vailsburg 1961-1963. The suit settled in 11/2014. A second man alleged abuse at St. Catherine’s in Cedar Grove. Gibney’s name was included 2/13/2019 on the Archdiocese’s list of credibly accused.
