Phoenix Diocese announced in 3/14 that the Claretians had recently revealed a credible allegation against Gielow involving sexual abuse of a minor in the late 1970s. Assigned to Sacred Heart Parish in Prescott 1960-66. Also spent time at CA State at Los Angeles and East Los Angeles Colleges before becoming Chaplain of Newman Club at Southwest Texas State Univ (San Marcos) 1969-75. Also worked at Cursillo Center, later known as the Mount Claret Retreat Center, 1/76-6/80. Died 06/29/80.
