Giordano retired from St. Luke’s Church in North Plainfield early in 5/07. He attributed his retirement to the pressures of running a parish and allegations of sexual misconduct. The diocese apparently investigated at the time and no action was taken. He denied all allegations and stated that the “allegations were handled properly according to both civil and canon law.” On the diocese’s list 2/13/19. It notes that he was removed.
