Fr. Thomas G. Gresock

Named publicly by the Diocese on its list 3/20/18 as removed, retired, or having left ministry after allegations of the sexual abuse of a minor. Listed in the 1988 Official Catholic Directory as working at St James church in Depew, NY. Allegedly molested a male high school freshman in 1987. The boy told two priests, who believed him. Gresock was allowed to stay in ministry until 1993. Multiple alleged victims. Named in a lawsuit in 2019 under the NY Child Victims Act. Case sent to Vatican. Living in 3/2020 across the street from a grade school and playground in North Tonawanda. Removed 5/1/2020 from the diocesan payroll as part of the diocese’s bankruptcy agreement.
