Taught public school in MD for 14 years prior to seminary and was a guidance counselor for five of those years. Moved to South FL after ordination. Accused in a 3/2003 lawsuit of sexually abusing a 17-year-old boy in 1982. Harris was the boy’s guidance counselor and chaplain at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale. The alleged victim said the counseling office at the school was lined with pictures Harris had taken of shirtless male students. All had hand-written notes on the back on them. Harris died in 1996.
