Fr. Benjamin Hawkes
Served as administrative officer and treasurer for archdiocese until Mahoney became archbishop in 1985. Died 9/85. Accused in 1995 of abuse of two boys 1973-85, while assigned to St. Basil in L.A. Claims settled. As part of 2007 $660M settlement with 508 plaintiffs, archdiocese was to release personnel files. Personnel files on 25 priests, including Hawkes released 1/13.
