Fr. Mark R. Hession
Indicted by a grand jury 12/11/2020 on charges of rape and indecent assault of a person under age 14. Hession had been suspended in 3/2019 for “inappropriate communications” to adult parishioners. Included on the diocese’s list of accused 1/7/2021. The alleged abuse occurred between 2005 and 2008. Pleaded not guilty 1/11/2021. Trial date set for 10/5/2021.
