Fr. Hubert Joseph Janak
On 1/29/12 the San Antonio Archdiocese posted a Public Notice on its website stating that it had “recently received separate accusations” of sexual abuse of minors against Janak and Fr. Michael O’Sullivan. Janak served in multiple parishes in the San Antonio AD (including some now in the Victoria Diocese). Notice said allegation was forwarded to the Bexar Co. District Att., and that Janak died 6/26/96. On the archdiocese’s list 1/31/19. It notes an allegation in 2010 of abuse of a girl in the 1950s, and his death as in 1994.
