Fr. Raymond J. Jean
Arrested in 1988 during a crackdown on homosexual activity at a local state park. Accused in a 1993 civil suit of molestation 1971-1972. A second suit was filed in 1999, with claims that Jean sexually abused a boy beginning when he was age 9 in 1973 and continuing until he was 20. Jean died in 6/2001, just before scheduled trial in that case. A third suit was filed in early 2003. One settlement for $275K. Included on the diocese’s list in 2/2019.
