A church secretary sued Johnston in 2000 saying her work contract was not renewed because her teenage son rebuffed the priest’s sexual advances in 1999. Johnson admitted inappropriate sexual behavior and language but denied any sexual contact. Removed from parish and sent to Illinois after allegations made. Included on the Detroit archdiocese’s list of credibly accused 6/10/19. Included on the Chicago archdiocese’s list in 10/22.
