Fr. John F. Keane
Pleaded guilty in 2/08 to indecent assault and battery on a person under age 14 and three counts of assault and battery. Charged with assaulting a girl between 1981 and 1983 when he was at St. Elizabeth Parish in Milton and/or Our Lady of the Rosary in Stoughton. Sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation. Transferred to another church in 1987. Absent from the archdiocese without leave from 1989. Moved to FL. Registered sex offender. Involuntary laicization in 2009 announced 6/13/11. Included on the Boston archdiocese’s list of accused 8/25/11. Died 5/17/21.
