Fr. Thomas M. Kelly
Named publicly in the 4/5/2023 MD Attorney General’s Report. A woman reported in 2006 that when she was age 8 in 1971, Kelly sexually abused by digitally penetrating her vagina while she sat in his lap. Made to retire in late 1971 after complaints of Kelly’s extreme drunkenness, conduct with women and girls and other erratic behavior. Sent to treatment for three weeks then moved into Stella Maris Hospice, where he ministered to residents. Caused a car accident in 1982, which killed another priest. Died in 1987.
