Fr. Paul Knapp
Name appeared on Baltimore’s 9/02 list of priests, religious priests and brothers accused of sexual misconduct. The Archdiocese learned from the Redemptorists in 1993 that an individual alleged sexual abuse by Knapp about 20 years previously. Knapp was associate pastor at St. Mary (Annapolis) from 1973 to 1981. Assigned 1981-83 to a parish in the Toledo diocese. He left the priesthood in 1995 and was laicized in 2006. Added to the Toledo diocese’s list in 2019.
