Fr. Louis J. Kolenkiewicz
Investigated by the District Attorney in 2005 and 2011 for downloading pornography. Removed from ministry for three years. No charges were filed due to the Church not preserving evidence, per the District Attorney. Received treatment after the 2011 incident. Returned to parish ministry in 6/2014. Suspended in 2/2015 after the discovery by the District Attorney that pornography Kolenkiewicz had downloaded in 2005 included photos of minors. In 6/2015 local police found him working at a parish and told the Archdiocese to keep him away from children. Kolenkiewicz was cleared by the Archdiocese’s review board and was to return to ministry 6/19/2017, assigned to the Cathedral. He died 9/17/2025.
