Named publicly as accused in the 4/5/2023 MD Attorney General’s Report. Two priest complained to Cardinal Shehan in 1968 about Krach’s behavior with boys. Treated at Seton Psychiatric Institute in 3/1968. Arrested in 10/1981 for soliciting an undercover policeman. Committed to psychiatric hospitalization for 6 months. Personnel file notes in 1989 indicate an “affair” with a teenage boy and that Krach should be closely supervised with no youth ministry or contact with altar boys. Notes in 1990 show “questionable activities and relationships with teenagers or young adults” in each assignment. Sent for evaluation at Downington PA, then treatment at St. John Viannney in 1/1991 and Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. Retired early in 12/1991. Allowed to help out with masses at Stella Maris Nursing Home.
