Fr. Gerard H. Krebs
Also known as Gerald or Gerry. Name included on the Erie diocese’s list released 4/6/2018. Included in 8/14/1208 PA Grand Jury Report. At least three known alleged victims. Went on “Health Leave 3/1990-5/1990 to Guest House in MN. In 3/2002 a former student of Venango Christian High, where Krebs worked 1964-1970, told the Diocese Krebs molested him when he was a senior in 1968. Another report in 4/2001 of abuse of a boy in the late 1960s. In 10/2006 a man alleged Krebs sexually abused him as a student in the 1960s. He said he knew of a 1969 graduate who also alleged abuse by Krebs, and that he also abused other classmates. Krebs was sent in 2002 to St. Luke’s Institute in MD. Retired in 1/2004. Died in 5/2005.
