Fr. Eugene Kwapisz
Named publicly as accused by Attorney Mitchell Garabedian in 5/2021. Subject of a claim settled in 2021 in the low six figures. Allegedly sexually abused an altar boy, ages 13-16, 1983-1985, while assigned to St. Casimir in Riverside NJ. The abuse is said to have occurred in the parish rectory and in hotel rooms during trips. Kwapisz died 1/27/1988. Per his obituary, Kwapisz worked at Archbishop Curley High School in Baltimore MD for 10 years, then at parishes in PA, NJ and GA.
