Fr. Raymond J. Lauzon
Accused of performing oral sex on a boy and of trying to get the boy to recant statement to police. Sentenced in 1985 to 6 months jail and 1 year probation for abuse of two youths. Diocese published a written apology in 4/98. Several suits filed in the 1990s. Maine AG report shows 18 plaintiffs. Living in 2002 at Monastery in Lithuania and was often seen with children. Died in 9/05. A man sued the diocese in 2016, claiming abuse as a boy in the late 1970s to 1981 by Lauzon and Rev. Christian Roy.
