Fr. Arthur J. Le Roux
Monsignor. Died in 1966, age 56. Named publicly as accused (mistakenly as Arthur La Rue) in the MI Attorney General’s 12/14/2025 Diocese of Grand Rapids Report. In 2018 a man reported to the Diocese that Le Roux sexually abused him in the 1950s when he was an altar boy in 7th and 8th grades at St. Mary’s in Spring Lake. The man said the abuse occurred multiple times over many months and involved fondling. He said he told his parents after Le Roux told him to take off all of his clothes so he could weigh him.
