Rev. John A. Leahy
Accused in a 3/2023 lawsuit of sexually abusing a girl in the mid- 1970s at Parmadale Children’s Village. The girl resided there for several years, beginning when she was age 7. Leahy was administrator of Parmadale 1973-1981. Per the lawsuit, Leahy abused the girl at his cottage on Parmadale property while other men watched. Further, he would force her and another child to perform sexual acts. The alleged victim also claimed physical and emotional abuse by the nuns, especially Myra Wasikowski. Leahy died in 2005.
