Ordained for the Jesuits in 1949. Taught prior to ordination at Gonzaga High School in Washington DC, 1943-1946. Later assigned as Prefect of Discipline at St. Xavier High School in NYC. Spent the bulk of his priesthood as a teacher and counselor at Canisius College in Buffalo, 1956 -1987. Died in 1995. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 12/2019 under the NY Child Victims Act of sexually abusing a boy, ages 7-17, 1973-1983. He is referred to in the suit as having been a family friend and a father figure and spiritual leader for the boy.
