Fr. Gerhardt B. Lehmkuhl
Arrested in 1995 for receiving child pornography through the mail. Checked himself into St. Luke’s Institute for treatment after he pleaded guilty, before sentencing. Sentenced in 1996 to one year in prison. Ordered to get mental health treatment after his release from prison. Reportedly in 2009, Lehmkuhl was working as “plant manager” at St. Louis University – Jesuit Hall. He died 3/9/2012. Included on the Province’s list 12/7/2018, which notes that Lehmkuhl was removed from ministry in 2002.
