Alleged to have molested a boy in his early teens 50 times over a two-year period in the late 1960s. Diocese learned of the allegations in 1992, yet kept Leroux in ministry. Retired in 1996. Removed active ministry in 6/02. Died 1/16/05. Sued by at least three men claiming abuse in the late 1970s-early 1980s; settled with diocese at mediation in 2/05. Accused in a suit 11/19 of abuse of a boy, age 16, in 1956. Per the suit, the boy told then-seminarian Howard Hubbard about the abuse, and Hubbard responded, “forget about” it. Hubbard denied the the man’s claims about him.
