Name appeared on a 4/2002 list of Cleveland priests no longer in active ministry because of allegations in the past of abuse of minors. Not indexed in the Official Catholic Directory after 1991. Included on the diocese’s list of credibly accused in 6/2019, noted to have been permanently removed. The list updated in 2022 shows that Luckay had been laicized.
