Fr. Gerald F. Lyons
Accused in a claim settled in 2020 in the low six figures of sexually abusing a girl, ages 4-5, in 1964-1965, while assigned to St. Anthony’s in Trenton. The abuse allegedly occurred in the church rectory and involved Lyons digitally penetrating the girl’s vagina while she sat in his lap. Per the Official Catholic Directory, Lyons went on leave of absence in 1973, after which he is no longer indexed.
