Fr. Patrick Francis Magee
Attended seminary in Ireland. Worked in the Trenton diocese. Returned to Ireland on vacation in 2003 where he was accused of abusing a boy between 1965 and 1969, when Magee was a seminarian. Arrested in Ireland. Allegations of abuse of two adults also raised in Trenton. Charges in Ireland dropped in 2004 after alleged victim’s suicide. Magee returned to Trenton and asked to be reinstated. He is shown as retired in the 2007-2010 Catholic Directories. Included on the Trenton diocese’s list 2/13/2019. Multiple alleged victims noted. Removed from ministry. Subject of settlement(s). Died 12/9/2023.
