Fr. Peter Mahoney
Removed from ministry in 11/21 after the Diocesan Review Board determined that allegations against Mahoney were credible. An allegation that Mahoney sexually abused a child 1975-78 while assigned to St. Martin of Tours was first brought to the diocese’s attention in 10/20. Mahoney was also accused in a 4/21 lawsuit of abusing a boy, ages 12-13, in 1963-64 while he was principal at the Church of St. Leonard of Port Maurice School.
