Accused in a lawsuit of sexually abusing a minor at Marymount High School in Los Angeles, while a Loyola University faculty member 1963-67. Trained in the Kansas City, KS archdiocese, then on faculty of St. Louis University in St. Louis for two years. Living in Akron, OH area in 2003. On the Jesuits’ Central and Southern Province list 12/7/18. It notes that Maio left the Jesuits in 1970 and the priesthood in 1971. Laicized. On Jesuits West Province list 12/7/18. It notes the abuse in L.A. was in 1963-64 and was reported in 1964 and 2003.
