Fr. Daniel J. Massie

Massie is the subject of multiple allegations of the sexual abuse of young girls at St. Mary’s in Menomonee Falls, where he was assigned 1980-1986. There was at least one settlement in 1992. He was sent to treatment in 1992 for alcoholism and sexual issues. Removed in 8/2002 without privileges from ministry because of his history of inappropriate sexual behavior with minors. The Archdiocese’s 11/2007 list of accused priests shows Massie as laicized. His personnel file released in 7/2013 shows that he was laicized 8/3/2009. He was allowed to work for the state as a social worker and substance abuse counselor from 2006 until 2/2017, when he stepped down. In 5/2025 he is listed on a website as Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor for Affiliated Counseling Center Inc in Beaver Dam, WI.
