Fr. William T. McCrory
Named publicly as accused in the 4/5/2023 MD Attorney General’s Report. Monsignor. Report in 4/2019 to the A.G. from a woman that McCrory sexually abused her at ages 7-9, while assigned to St. Francis of Assisi in Brunswick MD. He was assigned to the parish as pastor 1959-1968. McCrory was a frequent dinner guest at the girl’s home and would make her sit on his lap then digitally penetrate her. The woman said as she got older her gave her gifts and the privilege of driving his car, and that he likely did so to keep her quiet about the abuse. McCrory died in 1993.
