Arrested in 5/1988. Convicted in 1989 of abuse of a 12-year-old boy. Received a 5-year sentence. Lawsuit settled in 1990 for $700K. Laicized in 1993 so he could marry. Sued diocese because it would not pay his criminal defense fees. Case dismissed by Superior Court. Also named in a 1994 RICO pleading. Name included on diocese’s list 2/13/2019.
