Fr. John Whalen Patrick McGee
Died in 1987. Named publicly as accused in the MI Attorney General’s 12/15/2025 Diocese of Grand Rapids report. A woman told the Diocese in 2021 that McGee sexually abused her beginning when she was a 4th-grader in 1957 and until she was age 21. She said it began after her dog died and her family took her to McGee for comfort, and that she would go to the rectory after school and stay until he would drive her home late at night.
