Per archdiocesan report, one person alleged abuse 1972-74. Reportedly, at least seven sued in 2003 alleging abuse in the 1960s. Civil suit dismissed by court in 2005. Six plaintiffs settled with the Diocese of Monterey in 9/06 for $1.5M and lifetime counseling. Died 3/24/79. On Monterey diocese’s list 1/2/19. It notes report received in 2002 of abuse in the 1960s.
