Fr. William J. McKeone
Named publicly by the diocese as accused on its list 2/13/2019. Multiple alleged victims noted. Removed from ministry. (The list shows McKeone’s ordination year as 1969; per the Official Catholic Directory, it was 1972.) Accused of abuse of an altar boy, ages 13-14, in 1975-1976, while assigned to St. Denis in Manasquan. Settlement in that case in 12/2019, in the low six figures. McKeone died 5/17/2021.
