Fr. Richard L. Meglio
Removed from ministry 4/22/88. A man filed civil suit accusing Meglio of molesting him as a minor in the 1970s when, Meglio was assigned to Our Lady of Grace in Johnston, and accuser was hospitalized for “psychological problems.” Abuse continued after accuser was released from hospital. Suit settled 2002 as part of $13.5 mil mass settlement. On diocese’s list 7/1/19.
