Fr. Rene D. Messier
Ordained for the Diocese of Hartford. Transferred by 1961 to the Diocese of Gallup. Per the Official Catholic Directory, Messier was Absent on Leave 1963-1975. He died in CT in 1999. Per his obituary, Messier had a career in hospital purchasing in Holyoke MA and in Springfield MA. He retired in 1985 and lived with his sister in Putnam CT. His name is included on the Gallup diocese’s 12/15/2014 list of credibly accused. His assignments included St. Mary Mediatrix of all Graces, Yarnell AZ 1961-1963 and St. Anne, Ashfork AZ 1963. Deceased.
