Fr. Harry R. Morgan
Ordained for the Gallup diocese. Became a priest of the Phoenix diocese when it was created in 1969. Arrested 2/17/1975 on charges he abused a 9-year-old boy at Church of the Ascension in Fountain Hills AZ. The boy told Morgan that his boy scout leader, Don Davis, sexually abused him; Morgan told the boy to show him what happened. Morgan pled no contest 8/1975. Sentenced to 10 years probation 10/1975. He was returned reassigned to a parish in Dayton OH, in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Died in 1995. Newly named on Phoenix diocese’s list released 10/15/2012. Added to Gallup diocese’s list 12/10/2018.
