Ordained a permanent deacon for the Archdiocese of Detroit in 1976. Licensed social worker. Prior to becoming a deacon, Mousley worked in his native Delaware for the Dept. of Public Welfare and Catholic Social Services. Active in DE and PA in the Big Brother movement. Arrived in Michigan in 1971 to work as a youth ministry consultant for the Archdiocese of Detroit. Became youth director for the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph in 7/1977. In 4/1978 Mousely was appointed Director of the CYO for the Archdiocese of Newark. He was also assigned to the Boystown Home in Kearny, where he resided. Named publicly as credibly accused by the Newark archdiocese on its list 2/13/2019. One alleged victim noted. Permanently removed from ministry. Died 2/3/2022 in Washington DC.
