Fr. Francis X. Mulhall
In a massive civil suit filed in 10/03, 27 plaintiffs alleged abuse by 24 priests, including Mulhall. One woman alleged that Mulhall sexually abused her in 1984 when she was 7 or 8. She said he fondled her in the rectory and confessional. Mulhall was working as archivist on the diocesan marriage tribunal and was one of only three out of the 24 priests who was active when the suit was filed. On diocese’s list in 2/19. It notes removal from ministry in 2002. Died 9/23/09.
