Fr. Leon T. Muroski
Name included on the Erie diocese’s list released 4/6/2018. Noted to be forbidden to function as a priest. Accused of sexual misconduct in the early 1990s while a Spiritual Director at St. Mark’s Seminary. Sent to St. Luke’s Institute in MD for treatment in 5/1994. Admitted to inappropriate contact with seminarians ages 18-23. Per the GJ report, “While some of these seminarians were not legally juveniles at the time of their abuse, at least three of them were under Muroski’ s tutelage.” Muroski died in 6/2023.
