Fr. Joseph L. Murphy
Accused of abuse of a minor at St. Ferdinand’s in San Fernando, CA 1957-1960, per the Los Angeles Archdiocesan Report addendum of 11/2005. Also known to have been assigned as a faculty member at Our Lady of the Lake College in Austin, TX, as an assistant priest at St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, LA, and in the Diocese of Oakland, CA. He was a long-time member of the Oblate mission band in the western United States. Murphy died in 3/1975. His personnel file was released by the order in 7/2013.
