Monsignor. Former vocations director for the Diocese of Orange. Placed on leave in 9/2003 due an allegation in a civil lawsuit that Murray sexually abused a youth 1973-1979. Settlement of $500K in late 2003; kept secret for a year. Also accused of sexual misconduct in 1991; the Diocese could not substantiate. Named in the Los Angeles Archdiocesan Report addendum. Laicized, per the Diocese of Orange’s list updated 4/2/2019.
