Fr. Timothy J. Murray
Placed on administrative leave without privileges in 8/2004 because of a substantive allegation of sexual misconduct with a boy early in his ministry. The Archdiocese reported the abuse to the D.A.’s office; no prosecution due to the statute of limitations. Permanently removed from public ministry per Archdiocese Status Report dated 10/2009. Arrested in 12/2012 on federal charges of downloading and viewing child pornography. Confessed. Pleaded guilty in 7/2013. Sentenced to 15 years in prison 1/23/2014. On the Archdiocese’s list 6/10/2019.
