Fr. Louis I. Newman
Retired in 2002. Reportedly, his priestly faculties were removed because of allegations of sexual misconduct. He had been working in the San Diego diocese for at least 10 years, having left Rockville Centre in the late 1980s. Died 12/2/11. Included in 3/21 on the Rockville Centre diocese’s list of accused, which notes abuse allegedly occurring at a private house and in Newman’s car. No time-frame shown.
