From Ireland. Ordained in Ireland for the San Diego diocese. Personnel file released 10/22/10 as part of a settlement with survivors of clergy sex abuse. Parish priest, Army chaplain. Left the diocese 4/10/61, faculties revoked. A 4/7/61 letter from the bishop to O’Donohue states “Serious complaints, indi[c]ting your conduct, have come from Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Twentynine Palms, San Diego and Chicago,” and mentions “grave scandal.” The bishop, however, tried to convince O’Donohue not to resign. Assigned to parish work in Tucson, AZ. Died 8/9/67.
