Fr. Lionel P. Ouellette
Ouellette (sometimes spelled Ouelette) had a reputation for “seducing young ladies,” per a 1972 letter to his superiors. Accused in 1994 of improperly touching young girls while an assistant priest in the early 1960s. He denied the allegations and received a psychological assessment. Cardinal Law said that he would be allowed to continue in ministry “with your pastor being aware of the concerns that have been raised.” Retired in 12/1996. Died in 9/2000. Name included on the 8/2011 Boston archdiocese list of accused.
